Just wondering, but is there a way to connect like an ipod to the stock radio? I knwo there aren't any inpus, but there is a place for a md player or cassette player, so there must be something back there that gives signals to the stock cd player.....is there a certain cable I can get to hook up a plug to it and connect an ipod or md player or something without replacing my hu?

Thanks!

Yeah, but there must be some sort of input, even if it's a funny plug....since there is a place a minidisc or cassete player addon can go in...that has to give a signal to the stock player...

Several people (electrical engineering stundents if I recall) tried to creat something to do it. Simply put its to diffucult to bother with. No aftermarket company make an interface adapter to use the tape input. Nor has anyone been able to hack one in.

Seriously, its FM or nothing.

There is a funny plug, but it is a waste of time to figure out how it works. I'm sure there are pins for the audio signal and different controls (ff,rw,pause, etc) but it is not worth the effort to figure them out when you could just buy a new head unit with better sound quality and multiple inputs or if you're emotionally attached to the stock unit you could get an FM modulator and broadcast the signal from your IPOD to a specific station on your FM tuner.
