Stinky Speed....do You Have One Too?

I have noticed that after driving the car hard or just coming off of the highway that when I am sitting at a light that my speed is bit stinky. I still have my stock exhaust with cats. The only Mods I have are turbo hoses hardpipes, SMIC, Injen CAI, HKS BOV? I am guessing that the smell could be the turbohoses couplings but I can't be sure.

Anyone else have the same problem?

My car aslways smells like the diggity-DANK. So, I suspect my turbo of getting baked when it should be boosting. Or it could be my fault...maybe.

i used to get a stale/moldy smell from the ac vents but haven't smelled it in a while. i have noticed a sulfery nasty smell. i know it's exhaust but i'm never sure if it's my car or not. don't smell it but every so often. like i said, not sure if its me

Have you done a messy oil change lately. It might be excess oil burning off.

yeah....what's the sulfur smell?
i think i read it before, but i forgot.

It's from the catalytic converter. I only get the smell once in a while. Probably from a certain brand of gasoline that uses crappy addatives. A lot of times it will just be the car in front of me though.

It smells like something is burning...maybe plastic or rubber.
I get that sometimes, it bugs the crap out of me cause I think my car is falling apart. It smells like slow roasted rubber. Not like burning rubber, just liked it's been baking for a while or something if that makes sense..

^^^ I get this once in a while too. I dont know what it is either.

I melted part of my oil bucket to my exhaust when I was doing an oil change but that is long burned off now.

That could be my problem, I tend to be pretty messy when working on my car. Hmm. Keep the ideas coming though. I'd like to hear other opinions if there are more.

The burning oil is pretty common after an oil change. If you get any oil on your exhaust system, it will fry up like bacon grease. It should all burn off in a week or two and go away.

I don't have cats either(I have dogs), but if I did, I wouldn't drive them around in my car either.

I kid.... I kid.

If you spray brake clean on the back of the block where the oil spilled after you're done putting the filter back on you kind of get away from that
