The mazda green warrenty info you're reading is concerning the warranty on the intake itself. The INTAKE only comes with a warranty if it's installed by a dealer at the time of the vehicle purchase. The mazdaspeed "green" parts won't void the VEHICLE warranty no matter who installs them. It's actually ILLEGAL for mazda to require that all work done on the car be done by them to keep the factory warranty. The work just has to be done right, because if you install something wrong, they will blame you if there is ever a problem.

There shouldn't even be an issue with doing intakes or exhaust, there should be no reason to void the warranty. For that matter you should be able to install a Forge BPV without issue because you're just trying to get rid of the POS plastic BPV with a quality one. If you change the turbo, or do internal motor mods I understand the warrant being null and void. What's next, they're going to void my warranty for putting 16" wheels on my car with snow tires?
