still leaking oil out of the BOV..need help

i just installed my new gt28rs on the car and at first it was smoking like hell till the old oil residue in the pipes was burntout, now no smoke but my BOV is still leaking oil. my guess is that either the return line is clogged or the oil supply line is supplying to much oil to the turbo. i think there is to much blow-by in the oil system. i changed my PCV valve as per one guy that owns a turbo rebuilding shop but that didn't do it. any help will be greatly appreciated!!

after some research everything is pointing to problems with the engine breathing therefor creating to much crank pressure also known as blow-by. where is the factory oil catch can on this car? if anyone had this problem before please help!! thankx kelvin

the only time that i had oil in the intake track(intercooler piping) was when i had a leak in the system.found that i had a few loose connectors and fixed the issue.

Do you have a restrictor oil fitting on your oil feed line? I know the stock turbo doesn't need one but a GT28RS does.

Is it smoking from the exhaust, have you checked your oil? There are two things that I could see doing this. Either 1 the turbo is bad or 2 the return line is kinked or being blocked somehow. I'm hoping it's the later, go through it and recheck eveything. I had the return line kinked when I first installed my T3 and after I fixed that I have not had any other issues.

its not smoking and i checked my return line everything seems fine. i am gonna make the return line bigger just to be in safe side!

do you know if you have the proper size restrictor in the oil feed line? do you know the pressure in the feed and return lines?

you can also try rigging up a home made catch can in the meantime to see whats going on with that.

yeah he didn't answer that when I asked.. I'm really thinkin that's the issue. GT25R doesn't need a restrictor but a GT28RS sure does

i know a bunch of guys on an escort message board that ****** their turbo setups because they didnt use the right restrctor and blew the seals causing oil to show up inside their pipes and such.

20psi on a T25??.. not even a ball bearing one ? (like the GT25R stock MSP one)

weird. I was always told like 50psi was desirable on those.

I wouldn't bother "making" a restrictor fitting when you can just buy one.. and they are inexpensive on summitracing.com

yeah I'd um.. just try not to drive the car at all until you get that fixed. I don't wanna know what happens when you shove a ton of oil into the RS.. well aside from the fact that it sounds like you may have messed up oil seals if oil is coming out the BOV. hopefully there's no permanent damage, I've got my fingers crossed!

i tried not to. its hard cause is my only car rite now. what i'm doing is not going into boost. just cruising back and fwd from work. thanks man!!
