Still have the P5/Looking for some stock wheels or steelies for winter

I haven't been on the boards in quite some time but the P5 is still kicking. I can't believe it'll be 7 years in February! This community is great and I miss a lot of the people that I met here. The car has been good to me, and I was fortunate enough to have a company car for the past few years so she just hit 70,000 miles recently. After 8 years I'm now at a new job now, so the miles are adding up quicker but I really can't complain. I'm looking for some stock wheels or some steelies to throw winter tires on and would rather avoid the hassle of shipping so I figured I'd put this here in case someone local has some they want to get rid of. Not too much, how have you been? Thanks again for all your help when I was doing my turbo build, you were a life saver many a time. I'm using mp3 wheels currently but I really want a set of stock or steelies since the mp3s tend to rub on corners when there's any sort of weight in the car and I don't think I could get away with winter tires on them.

really? they are ony 16"...you may have a strut/spring issue too. i got a set of steelies with snows for free last fall...what a deal! good luck man!

I read that could've sworn mine were 17". I just went outside and checked and they are 17. Maybe they came in 2 sizes? I just test drove an 09 wrx hatch yesterday and fell in love so maybe I won't need to worry about wheels after all. But for the time being, still looking for stocks or steelies!

I guess I can change the thread title to "Don't have the P5 anymore and not looking for wheels". Just purchased a 2012 WRX hatch premium in ice silver. Traded in the P5, have it for another week or so until the car is ready but she's as good as gone. I will miss it but the new car is a beast. Thanks to you Mark especially, but also everyone else that helped me out during my build. It was my first venture into serious modding and I would've been dead in the water without your help. I will miss everyone in the NEPOC family and will poke in from time to time!

So the 2012 premium in ice silver was sold already. It took awhile but I got a hell of a deal on a different new car. My new 2011 plasma blue pearl STI. Drove her home last night. Most amazing car I've ever driven!
