Stiff springs + tall sidewall = tire bounce?

Damn, I was hoping the 99 would be *new* enough, as that was the newest one in their inventory

Just to reconfirm, you are using single adjustable inserts correct? If so I believe that Jeff is using the double adjustable inserts which (as said) are basically one length whereas the SAs may be of different lengths.

The same length as the Stock protege struts? Or the same length as the single adjustable inserts used by AWR. Not sure exactly what strut AWR uses in their kit.

EDIT: Missed this Are you saying this the insert that AWR uses? If so, how does it compare to the stock strut?

dschnell...boost leak?

Gavin

Sorry, from what I understand, AWR uses Koni Race Inserts either SA or DA. There are only two sizes offered in Koni Race Inserts SA's. I figured the shorter is is going to be it since it wouldn't be practicle to use the longer insert.

This is what low psi posted earlier.

Using OEM P5 struts
Front:
Stroke-7.25" | MaxL-21.75" | MinL-14.5"

Rear:
Stroke- 8.5" | MaxL-26.5" | MinL-18.0"

Does this look low enough? That was from yesterday.

i see the problem, you are only turning with 3 wheels on the ground

high five!

sorry, free bump i guess since this is a lil over my knowledge, but makes an interesting read

Yea there were a few turns on the course I just couldn't get right. The morning run groups didn't go to well and I was running timing for most of it. I was mentally out of it by the time I got in the car.

If that really was an apex, sorry. I was just kidding. It seems half of the pictures at autocross show people setting up for something else when they shouldn't be near the cone. I just figured that's what this was.

the car looks like its gripping well to get that kind of lean with the spring rates you have.

That picture is awesome! Any lower and you'll have to say good bye to your lip... I can't believe it man, what with your spring rates and all. Cool :D

It was a setup to another 90 degree turn and then a pretty decent straight. I was trying to late apex it to get a good drive down the straight, but I never got it quite right. It was a setup, but I still never really nailed it right.
