steering wheel control adapter?

im installing a aftermarket deck in my 2009 Mazda 3 and i am just wondering if i need a adapter for the steering wheel controls or when i install the deck will it be automatically integrated. also if i need one does anyone have any suggestions where to look.

Aftermarket decks do normally need adapters to incorporate the existing steering wheel controls. You can Google search your deck make & model with your car model to find out who sells the adapters you need. (something like "Kenwood DNX9960 2009 Mazda3 steering wheel adapter.") Crutchfield's web site is an easy source of good info on these sorts of things. You can also just walk into your local Best Buy or any shop that installs decks & they usually have the adapters on hand.
