so a friend of mine has a steedspeed manifold and he is having trouble gettin it on. he says that he cant reach the bolts underneath or something idk...is there a how to for this?? i plan on takin a look this saturday to see whats goin on.

hey dude let me know while your at it you could help me install mine. just got it back from the shop.... what ever happen with the mountain run.....???

Bottom middle right? If so it just a tight space... It takes awhile to get on with a small wrench.... Only small movements but it goes on slowly.

at least you can install it lol. Some of the MAM manifolds you couldnt even get the nut on the stud let alone get a wrench in there.

Take the turbo off, put the turbo on the manifold, then bolt that to the dp and head. Easy as pie.

still waitin just a little bit.

god dam!! thats quick!!!!

by the time you remove the turbo and bolt it back on, it's probably much faster than ******* around with a few hard to get to bolts. I can have a turbo/mani off in about 20 minutes, including removing fans, etc.

yup that effin quick. i need to live close to this guy(boom07)

I've done a few of them, believe it or not the biggest pain in the ass is removing the oil/coolant hoses from the turbo. This of course is barring any broken studs.

I had my friend do it since he is a professional technician. I watched him for a little bit and he just took off the manifold and the turbo/s-pipe. That seems like the easiest way to do it IMO. It took him a while because my mani was a POS and some of the studs broke. But yea I too got the ARP studs and not only are they great quality, but they look smexy too.

the HiBoost manifold sucks dick. the bottom middle studs have 0 room for a wrench, i had to grind down some of the manifold and also grind a wrench to get on the nuts. then i had to snug those two first and walk the manifold to the head. when i took the manifold off the old motor those two were loose. a lot easier to do with the motor out tho.
