Im am thinking about manufacturing some stainless brake lines, would anybody be intersted and how much ya'll willing to pay?

i am very interested, i think this will be my next mod. corksport is developing a set and they are asking $89. also, goodridge's are $99. if you can come in under $89, you got my buisness. how long would development take? i am not in a hurry but am ready to do this mod as soon as i change my pads. also, what fluid will you suggest?

I don't know if I'll go SS really soon, but it's on my list of things that I am considering. I think I will be switching to Motul DOT 4 fluid in the Springtime regardless of cables.

put me on the list of prospective buyers. You guys are going to give me a deal right. Buy a set of Spoolin SS brake lines and recieve a FREE stage 4 turbo kit, just pay for shipping and handling. right :D

HAHA freekwonder u funny:D
As far as the lines I am lookin for them to be in the 75 dollar range and have a forum special for like 65 dollars:eek:
Tell me what ya'll think?

sign me up too! i wanted them as well.

my life is in your hands i hope they work! j/k i have faith in your expertise. i do like the idea of a free stage 4 turbo kit!

Sounds nice Terry, what about other brake items?

Light weight calipers that fit the stock brakcets, or AWR's brackets!!!

If you were to make them I would test them first. Tell us how much distance was lost on the braking distance

How do steel braided brake lines cut down on braking distances?

All steel braided lines do is help cut down on flex in the stock hoses, thus giving a firmer pedal feel when braking.

Tire make a bigger difference in brake distances, then pad material, and rotor's ability to help dissapate heat...

At least, that's how I see it.

Some energy is lost on stock line by being dissipated in the swelling of the rubber. The reason you get better pedal feel is because the energy is more efficiently transferred. When it is more efficiently transferred the pads slow down the car earlier

count me in for that price. i read where someone is having trouble with the conections on the goodridge. if you will test fit them to make sure they seal and can give me some idea on how to install (i think i may know already) i am ready to buy today.

That is me with the problem. And I posted that answer to it on the other thread related to this topic. Just get the 99 protege kit

Yeah the lines are not even developed yet. Just figuring how many people were interested but looks like its a go. It will take some time though.....perhaps in a couple months..... but they will be very affordable.
