Ss Afc

What is the maximum amount of boost i can run with an ss afc v.1? I plan on getting a J & S one day when i can find one. As of this moment i have an ss afc, corksports exhaust, injen intake, greddy boost controller, and hks bov. I plan on getting a fmic, intake and exhaust mani, downpipe, and possibly upgrading my turbo. What boost can i run on stock bottom with the afc and j&s. thanks

as the already Q & A forum clearly states, the SS AFC can handle any Boost level, you just need to have it tuned proberly

I think I have read on another thread either the map tables and or pressure sensor in the afc will read up to either 14 or 16 psi. Sorry, I can't be exact. You'll have to dig a little more, but the answer is somewhere on the forum.

As far as how much the car will handle with a tune and a safegaurd, it will be a mixed bag. If this is your daily and you can't afford any downtime I wouldn't go past 10psi. Just my opinion.
