Yeah, I'm on the SRT-4 boa alot, and they are all really happy with the parts they get(stage 1 and up) from the dealer. The only major, common problem I've heard they have so far is a bad clutch(too much power for it???) so they get that fixed. Damn, maybe I shoulda got a SRT-4, but then I think, no, I don't want a NEON.(they hate it when you call it that,lol)

holy s***!! There is no arguing with how dodge is handeling this car! I will absolutly buy this car now. I will wait until I see a used one on the lot and go in and haggle for both stage 1 and 2 kits at the same time. I bet the 100octane switch and intercooler sprayer is good for 300whp. Now that the 04 model has the LSD it's TOO good to be true. Any idea how much the stage 2 kit costs?? I'm going to call my dealer here and get details.

That is bloody impressive, although the boost dial is kind of gay in appearance.

I have already requested the finance info from my local Dodge dealer, they are selling the SRT herefor the same price as MSRP for the MSP.

Kinda wish i had waited on the MSP.

do you say the MSP is still JUST a protege. Get a clue that car is fast as shiat, has tons of manufacturer support, has nice seats, and will blow the doors off ANY msp. Yeah i said ANY one.

The interior has a little bit left to be desired but s*** man, they're fast.

Thats sweet...my friend who has a silver SRT-4 already paid for it and is waiting. SRT-4 is amazing...but its not my kinda car. It may have the body of a neon but remember that the engine is totally diffrent (saying its just a neon is correct and incorrect). The interior and looks may remind us of a neon but it sure doesnt perform like one. I wonder if mopar stage 2 is covered under warrenty?

Mazda has always been about handeling (miata, RX-7 and MSP). So its preference...stright line fast or fun handeling. Im not a stright line guy. But I am pissed at the aftermarket support for our beloved MSP.

I like both cars and both were even when I was considering which to buy. Just the MSP was cheaper...and I loving every mile.

Thats exactly where it falls short. I test drove one and was completely disappointed. It felt jerky, didnt fit properly and you can tell how bad the interior ergonomics are when shifting hits your knee, and the a/c controllers are so low, the dash really sucks. Taking off it didnt feel as fast as my P5 and at high speeds I felt unsecured, couldnt control the car straight. The pavement was jerking the steering around. Remember you spend most of time behind the wheel of the car, and the interior is on of the most important aspect of enjoying a car. The Protege is extremely well built, interior and exterior, and will definetely outlast any Neon out there.

I agree with azian6er. The MSP is JUST a protege with a turbo. The SRT4 is JUST a neon with a turbo.

We need to stop bashing the Srt4 people, there is NO REASON to bash them at all. BOTH of our cars are hot as s*** END OF DISCUSSION.

Who cares if one is faster then the other? Seriously, the major thing I hate about the MSP and yes even the SRT4 community is how immature people are when someone mentions another car! The people are so insecure, they need to trash another car. That is retarded there is no need for, just be happy with what you have!

I personally love my MSP, and I also love the SRT4, both cars are great! I'm not jealous of anything, because I'm happy with the choice I made.

I wish people would stop fighting and trashing SRT4's and other cars. It doesn't help or solve anything, but cause more fights and tashing.
