Hi everyone,
My 2021 CX-9 has had the SRS warning light flashing on the dashboard for the past year now. I just realized that it's flashing a code after trying to figure out how to get rid of the flashing. Basically, the SRS light comes on about 5 seconds after starting the car, then flashes three times, pause, then flashes five times. After some research, this is apparently "indicates a short circuit in the passenger side airbag module." I have tried disconnecting the battery and jiggling the yellow connectors under the passenger seat (read this might help on other forums) but this didn't work.
Does anyone have any ideas I could try? My CX-9 only has 45k miles and I don't like taking it to the stealership to rip me off for a 5-10 minute fix. Thanks everyone
