Squeeky Clutch Pedal?!?!

Hey there Guys, this my first official post, I have had my MS3 for about 2 weeks now and I have racked up 450 miles so far, however my clutch pedal has a strange feel to it kinda of like it it needs to be lubed or something, it also makes a little creaking noise when it is pressed in also. Has anyone had something similar happen? Dealer lubricated the assembly, but it still continues to squeek, any help would be appreciated.

Mine had the same problem. I think that it was the electrical switch that the pedal hits when depressed. I sprayed some lube and now it sounds okay.

What lube did you spray on it WD40?

Hi guys, thanks for responding, the guys at the dealership sprayed some sort of lubricant on it, however it quieted down for a shot while and now the first couple of inches now squeak even louder! The dealership suggested that I give it a few more miles to try and work out the "newness"

What lube did you spray on it WD40?

I used WD40 about 2 weeks ago and it still seems cool. I think some spray silicone might work a little better though. I dont know how good WD40 will be for the inside of the switch.

mine initially squeaked a bit, but after a while, it just stopped. the "newness" thing might actually work for you...^^;
