Squeaky suspension on 03.5 MSP

Not too sure why, but it sounds like all 4 corners squeak pretty bad.

I will try to get a video later(for audio purposes), but I have no idea what it is.

I read about the "clunk" but this is kinda bad.

The body/suspension does have 145k....

Time for new struts? Or possibly just some lube?

what lube do you use, and where do you spray it to get rid of the squeak? I have a tiny bit sometimes on my back end.

replace them it wont really help to lube them unless you take off the bushing and lube inside

more then likely in the clunk that you hear in the rear is the rear sway bar bushings...mazda has some new ones that they came out with that are supposed to help reduce the clunk...when i replaced mine i lubed the inside of the bushings along with the sway bar also....once i threw the new ones on ..there was no more clunk....

How much do the bushings run?? can I buy new ones at the locate parts store

the bushings i believe are $25 bucks each if i can recall...i don't remember considering that i don't own my MSP ne more....but i don't think that you can get them off of the shelf at a auto parts store...i am pretty sure though that you just could take the old ones off of the car and then lube the inside of them and then put them back on...that would probably make the clunk go away...but i can't promise you that you are best off getting the newer ones that mazda has

i dont know much of this but where is the bushing located at?? mine does the same thing....

ok under your rear red (racingbeat) sway bar...you will see that it's connected to this little rubber bushings (they are the ones located more in the center) they are the ones that are giving u ur squeaky noise.....u will find out if it's those bushings if u park your vehicle and then get out and put the ebrake on and then go to the back of your car and rock your car back and forth by pressing on your trunk to use as ur grip and if ur car squeaks when you do that then it's ur rear sway bar bushings u will be able to hear where its coming from when u rock ur car back and forth

Oh thanks you very much i learned something new today... so they are just called buchings or do they have another name?
