Squeaky clutch pedal

My clutch pedal has developed a squeak whenever it is released. It is perfectly silent when being pushed in and squeaks on the way back. I've tried some lithium grease on everything that moves and it didn't help.

Any ideas on what else to do? It's very annoying.

There's a shaft connected to the clutch pedal , youl want to soak it with wd40 by the firewall and on the pivot

Wd40 will remove whatever lubrication is left ppb that shaft. Any idea what I should lubricate it with after cleaning with the wd40?

dont wanna sound like a smart ass but wd-40 is lube type of thing i would get some bearing greaser and apply it to what he said shaft etc.

What i meant is that wd40 will likely remove whatever grease is left on the shaft and wd40 itself is an oil which is probably not the correct lubricant to use on the shaft of a hydraulic piston which I assume is what the clutch shaft we are talking about is.

I'm only speaking from experience man try it. If it doesn't work you barely wasted time or money

I'm certain you are correct, thank you for the help. I just want to make sure to use the correct lubricant so I don't damage the seal.
