spring or coilover

Hi, everyone I am a newbee in suspension. I am planning to drop my Mp5 around 1.5 or so, was wondering if anyone know what will wear down the factory shocks more, a 1.5 drop in normal springs or coilover that is drop 1.5..

Springs all the way

springs are what you need. 1.5" drop is perfect for this type of application. Its not "as" hard on the factory struts and keeps a similar ride, unlike coilovers. I would go with Eibachs for sure

oic.. cool.. so you are saying that even if the drops are the same, the coilover will wear down the shocks faster? The reason, I kinda like coilover , although it is more expensive is because it is adjustable, as living up north, lowering too much will just make my car become a snow showel..
