I'm looking into buying a cold air intake for the car, and I was wondering if anyone had and knowledge with a good brand. I'm looking to bump up the horse in the car without turbo charging it. I'm also thinking to change the air filter to a high performance one. My ultimate goal right now is too acquire as much horse power as possible, any helpful hints and ideas would be greatly appreciated. Remember I'm only a student on a budget so nothing too extravagant like headers and stuff.

You can get a Simota Twincharger CAI from Protephile (his thread title is something like "Everything in this thread is in stock") for about $100 shipped. I know that Injen and some of the others may be a little bit better, but a CAI doesn't add that much power in any case, so I didn't want to pay a premium just for a brand name. Fit and finish are excellent, and you can always add a K & N filter to the end later...

Hey guys, this is his cuz, I was wonderin how to wire an amp kit through the protege's firewall, never dun this kinda stuff before but he has,but unfortunatly hes out of town soo i was wonderin if anyone has wired a system before. I have some old equipment 2 10" Boss subs, with a boss 250 x 2 W amp. (got for free) i was wonderin if someone could also tell me what kind of wirein kit i need to wire this thing up and how to basically do it. i think on the amp though, its like a screw on stuff, im not sure how to explain it but like the wire running from the amp to the subs are like screwed into the amp, but for the power side the screws arnt there, do i need those or does it not matter.
