Sport Sterring wheel replacement

Hello,
Newby here. Just got a Red Sport2. Really like the car. Would like to swap out the steering wheel for a Touring model to get cruise controls. Is it a "plug & play"?

What's all involved in replacing the steering wheel? I hate how plastic-y and fat it is. I just wonder if it'd be too much of a hassle to replace it with something more to my liking.
