ive loved the sound since day one, whether it be when i start the car, at idle, or whatever speed. yes, its loud, but its deep and not ricey. thats what i wanted. i got it before my cai, and i cant notice any difference in sound.
anyways, for you fellow spool owners, does your muffler point downwards, like at an angle? mine does.. its only noticable when you look at it from the side...

hey justin....i had an apex n1 on my prelude...it came with a silencer...it did lower the noise quite a bit...good luck...let us know how it sounds...ps, i tracked the package...you got it right?
Justin I have the adjustable silencer that came with my OBX muffler if you want to try that out. I did notice the power difference with it in and out, but I I leave it in but adjust it to the "open" position it sounded good and the power was there aswell. I have a 4.5" tip.

Tol, thanks, but I don't think it will fit...the HKS muffler has a 96mm (~3.75") tip. I ordered the HKS branded silencer, should arrive sometime next week. After that I'll decide what I'm gonna do.
