I would like to know what and why you guys or girls are using either one, advantages, disadvantages? Im getting ready to buy the AEM fuel and ignition controller because it allows the ignition tunning where the ssafc does not for the same price of $400.

split second comes as 2 different unit series'

one is strictly a air/fuel controller whilest vers.2 has air/fuel+timing controller

youll have alot more mapping and set up basis with the peeps here on the forums with ssaftc.. plenty of people can help and say its the closest thing to going standalone without actually getting a full standalone system

i have the AEM go with the spilt second unless you have lots of patience and want to use a system that not many use and without much support for our cars, there is a reason many people use the split second.

You can buy a Split Second AFC and your car can be up and running beautifully the SAME DAY! Buy an AEM and spend weeks wiring and trying to get it to run properly not to mention only a handful of people have it and can help you with setting it up on an MSP.

Thanks for the input guys looks like im gonna buy the cheaper SSAFC and load up a base map, check my afr's with a innovate wideband
