Yeah I know that now. I didn't see that in the MOTM Jan. thread. So I have deleted all the posts. I believe this rule is one of the reasons that there's only 25 votes as of now on a site with 103,000 members!

Sorry

On another even more ridiculous turn of events looks like the fuel pump has died. Anyone had a problem with this @ around 100K miles?

Sorry

or i could be because of the quality of the entries, the timing or the fact most people do not vote at all.

do you hear the pump when you try to crank?

No I have the back seat out and the access plate off and no sound coming from it when I try to start. I have a fuel pressure gauge and it reads 0 PSI no matter what. When the car initially died the gauge went from 30 to 0 and back for a few min then went to 0 and that was that.

connect the TEN and Ground on your access pannel in the front, it should light up the fuel pump...if it doens't work, remove it from the tank and hammer it on the side with a mallet...it may be stuck..happens when you use chepa gas...

i bought an acura once becaus eit had a blown motor for 50$/
after i paid the man, i rmeoved the fuel pump, dropped it on the floor, picked it up, installed it and told the guy to cancel the tow truck request...drove home and worked until the car was totaled 2 years later.

TEN and Ground should run the fuel pump

on this pic, the diagnostic port is that grey box at the bottom right.

Thanks leaning stuff. On another note checked the relays and guess which one was somehow loose a hell. Gave it a push and VROOM started righted up. Live and learn I guess.
