Hey folks:
I had been wondering if the Mazdaspeed3 wheels would fit on my 07 MX-5. Well its been proven, the stock Mazdaspeed3 wheels 18x7 +52.3mm offset with 215/45/18's fit without rubbing issues.
I like the look but not the feel. The car was "floaty" before (GT PRHT with sport suspension) and not these wheels amplified this feeling. I def need to get some MS springs and MS sways in the Spring. Maybe with these mods, these wheels would have a better feel on the road.
Anyways... here's some pics. The stock Speed3 wheels look close to the stock MX-5 wheels, but the pattern is a bit different.
Let me know what you think. And yes, they are heavier than the stock MX-5 wheels. I think by 2 or 3 more lbs. per corner (which is another reason why they are not staying on).
