Yeah I know its made in japan but why do I have ford labels on my parts (doh). I know I saw the brake calipers with a ford symbol as well as some hoses. Yes, I do know ford owns a third of mazda but still kind of annoying. Why would they have to ship ford parts to japan to have them installed . . .

Who said they were shipping Ford parts to Japan. More than likely those Ford parts are coming out of China or Mexico or maybe even right there in Hiroshima. You will also find Volvo labels on there. Ford manufacturers some of the brakes I would imagine but they were original equipment for Volvo.

I know what you are saying though. If Ford sells off its share of Mazda that will start going to the wind and we will not see as many cars in the US as we have grown accustomed to.
