Hey everyone new to the forum so I hope I'm in the right spot.
So I recently got a 2009 Mazda 3i sport and at the moment I'm looking to install a cold air intake. I went out and got a spectre cone and piping and went to install it today. I've done this before to my previous car and friend's cars with no problem so I expected the same results as I have had before. After I was all done I went to start up my car and for the first few seconds it sounded like all was going to go well until it went to idle. Then I started getting some engine sputter and a lot of rattling. This obviously isn't right with the car and I was wondering if anyone has had this same problem before? I can't seem to find a fix for it and I'm hoping that someone on here has any advice.
(Just clearing it up now that the neg was disconnected for the whole time during the install, roughly 30-45 min)
