05 Mazda 3 SP23
Picked up my new SP23 a week and a half ago and very very happy. I traded my 8 in for it, took a beating but worth it.

I always like the 3's and should have gotten one when I sold my spicy orange MSP but my husband wanted me to have the eight. I like it but it just wasn't doing it for me. I missed the uniqueness of the msp and wanted the sportiness & upscale feeling of the eight. Got both, kind of with the SP23. It's cute, quick enough for me, classy and sporty.

It has a combination of both cars, from the msp it got a limited color, great sounding stereo, lots of room and of course i got the 5 speed. From the 8 came the steering wheel controls for radio and cruise, instrument panel, sunroof and upgraded interior. What it has on it's own is auto headlights, auto windshield wipers, limited color, limited saddle leather and few other options.

I really love this car, my husband says I better cause this is the 3rd new mazda in 3 years and I need to keep it longer than 1 year.

I'm one of the older crowd on this site, 43 don't feel like and hope I don't look like it. Car keeps me young at heart, also the eight was hard to get out of, lol.

wow, an 8 to a 3... watch out, the tach isnt 9K in the three heh heh heh... did you get the hatch or the sedan? Anyways, congrats and enjoy, its gonna be a big big seller i am sure...

like the next civic i believe.

congrats on the new car. most of us would say mod it, put some new tires or suspension or turbo it, but instead, I'd stay bone stock and enjoy it while you have it

Hatch. No it doesn't go to 9K in 3rd and I can't take a corner doing 55 but I feel really cool in my 3. A couple people asked me why not the 6 or wait on the mazdaspeed 6 but I just didn't want a bigger car and I really like the 3's and it's not just your average 3, If I want big I'll drive our Avalanche if I want fast I'll take my husbands 87 750hp Chevette down the track.

Also it's like always wanting a vette, which I did, and when you own one and drive it, it's just not all what it's cracked up to be, but it sure is cool going down the road, the 8 had that same affect.

And thanks, I've got to keep this one at least for a couple years anyhow.

Thanks, I have become an import fan even after I swore I never would. 10 years ago when they would all show up at our local drag street and take up all the time because they were so many and it felt like our "Fast" cars would never get there, I'd would swear at them etc. But we have changed, they really are some cool cars and can produce some awesome hp if modded correctly. My will stay bone stock for now. Plus all the money for mods goes in my hubby's drag car.

Sp23

We`ve had our 4 door SP23 5 weeks now; had been looking at Acura TSX. The Mazda3s does practically everything as well as or better than the TSX and for several thousand less.
We got the Saddle Brown dead cow seats, power moonroof, security package, and auto. trans. since my wife is the main driver.
I drive an `04 Titanium Gray Mazdaspeed MX-5, but get in the SP23 every chance I get. Styling, handling, and quality interior are the three main things that sold us on this car.
The sound system is much better than the Bose system in my Miata.
This car is in a class by itself. The new Civic will have to be mighty good to outclass this car.

hey i was just skimming through. please tell me that your husbands drag car is a corvette and not a chevette.

It's a chevette, if I remember when I get home, I will add it to this page.
It's fun!

I saw a White Chevette in Car Craft magazine this month with a 4.6 V-8. It made me think of your car.
