We're going to Memphis friday for a wedding. Yes, we are going to Graceland!! :D

What things do you guys find essential for a road trip? This will be Pogo's first RT!!:)

bring music, lots of it :D

also make sure the tires are properly inflated before heading out, and you have a spare in the trunk ;)

that's what I can think of right now :)

BETTER Yet.....DRIVE NEKID!!! just make sure you smile and wave at the truckers when you pass them! lol

don't forget the sunscreen! you don't want to get sunburned, you know, there :D

Web access.

My phone and wireless plan allows me to dialup into the Internet with my laptop when we travel. This is great for those long trips with nothing to read or listen to. An FM modulator pipes the MP3s stored on my laptop through the stereo.

it's funny you say that because I find it fun to flash truckers...*devilish grin*

Toilet Paper!!!!!

You gotta take a roll of TP! You can never trust those interstate rest areas to be stocked with the essentials. Don't ask me how I know that. It a long story and a painful (physically and emotionally) memory. Drive safely and kiss the bride for me! :D

one of my friends used to carry a 2 liter bottle of soda with him for long road trips...after finishing the bottle in an hour he would have to go really really bad...he said it helped him get to his destination faster...and if worse came to worse he used the bottle...lol

hey OurP5...how do you know that?

I will say it once more.

Don't ask me how I know that. It a long story and a painful (physically and emotionally) memory.

I have spent many hours and lots of money on therapy for that particular trip. I outline a couple of the highlights of that road trip.

1) The TP Issue in Jacksonville, FL (damn I hate McDonald's)

2) Arrived at my destination after 13 hours and it was like 2am. This street has no lights and the relatives I was staying with have a blind drive. Missed the driveway, dumped the front of my car in a ditch.

3) Next morning after about 2 1/2 hours of sleep. On my way to the wedding of my cousin I get behind Joe Bob and his big @$$ 4x4 truck. Kicks up 2, count them 2, big ass rocks. They both careen off the hood, into the front windshield. Carcked the whole damn thing. Looked like Spiderman had lost his load on my windshield.

On the way home I got pulled over by Barney Fife just Northwest of Atlanta, GA. Gave me a ticket for an illegal lane change (I din't use my turn signal), cracked windshield, and illegal tint.

That one weekend cost me about $600 bucks.

Now to top it all off. My cousin's marriage only lasted about three months. Damnit!

A gun incase some frick retard starts a fight with you on the side of the highway.

This actualy happened:mad:

TV's, and a DVD system will help. I put Shreck in for the little one, and she didn't say a word the whole time it was on.

DVD

Oh yah! I forgot about that! Jus pass some of that cash you are having a hard time keeping in your pocket...i know, It's just all fallin out! ;):D

Just don't do that with a two litre bottle of Mountain Dew...you might forget you recycled the bottle an hour ago and...well, let's just say it would leave a bad taste in your mouth.
