Sparking

So I just got my FS-ZE in, not running smooth yet. The spark plug wires are arcing to the valve cover on start up. I've read it could happen if it's flooded (it was), and/or if the EGR valve isn't closing (it's not hooked up yet). Has anyone had this happen? I'm thinking about replacing the plugs and coils but if I can avoid that I will. Thanks!

if the plug wires are arching to the valve cover, you need new plug wires, end of story. same deal with the coils.
