Hi guys. I've read most of the threads on spark plugs & I'm getting a bit confused. I'm running on stock boost & want to buy some NGKs. Would appreciate some clarification on the different parts & which is the best one for my car.
I went into the NGK website for the MSP: http://www.ngk.com/results_app.asp?AAIA=1416822
& see the different types applicable. Some of you guys use the V-power ZFR6F-11 & gap it at .032 but how about the GP Platinum ZFR6FGP (7100)? No one seemed to have mentioned that. And what about the higher grade IX Iridium (6441)? And does the MSP really need the extended reach Iridium plugs (4095)?
These are all pre-gapped at .044" for the MSP... I wonder why the manual indicates that that it should be .032? Is that the correct gapping?
I know some of you are using the "7" plugs eg. ZFR7F-11... I live in Toronto & with our kind of weather should I not stay with the 6s?
I called my dealership & they sell both the "cold" type & the regular type for $16 USD set of 4. Not sure what the cold type is...
