Ok, got some SPAL slimline fans to fit in the engine bay after the corksport radiator install. Not wanting to royally booger something up, my plan is on the first harness crimp the yellow wire from the stock fan plug to the red wire on the SPAL harness. Then ground the black lead from the SPAL to the frame and tape off the black wire from the stock harness. Then on the second harness, crimp the black/blue from the stock harness wire to the red on the SPAL connector and ground the SPAL harness to the frame. Will that work or should I get a butt connector, clip the ring connector off the SPAL harness and connect the black wire on the SPAL to the black wire on the stock harness?
The car is currently non functional (snapped off the outboard water fitting inside the turbo
trying to replace a hose) but as long as it's apart I might as well get this done...but without a way to test it I thought I'd check on it first.
