Source for 2018 CX-5 OEM Rear tailgate liftgate upper molding cover?

Hey guys!!

I noticed this on the tailgate of my CX-5 the other day. I don't know how long it's been like this but my only question is, will that damage the interior of my tailgate due to the rubber not being in it's original place preventing water from going through. I would like to know from the community of any consequences if any from water leaking through there. And If any of you know where I can buy a replacement to change the part. Thank you all 👍🏼 it's a 2018 Mazda CX-5 Touring 2WD

Believe it or not, that was an aero aid tha Mazda added to the second gen to help smooth out airflow over the rear hatch. Shouldn't affect water tightness because there's still sealant between the glass and the window opening. I would clean out the channel and replace the rubber with an appropriate adhesive.

Thanks paris1 👍🏼 will do!!

Do you recommend any specific brand because I tried silicone used to seal windows and I also tried super glue but both didn't work.
