2007 Mazda 6i
hey all,
So i've put together and purchased everything for my system i will be installing in a 2007 mazda 6i. To those that are curious (although not very important to my question) i will be installing:

Pioneer deh-p880prs installed with Metra dash kit.
Pioneer CD-IB100II ipod interface w/ 30gig Ipod.
2 JL 12W6v2's, sealed 1.3 cu ft each.
1 Hifonics BXI2006D (at 4 ohms)
0/1 awg power.
Polk MMC5250 components
Audison LRX 2.150.
Raamat sound deadening.

I've had everything installed except my components and component amp for quite some time. I'll remove whats installed where necessary to sound deaden. Now to my question:
What i'm wondering is about removing the side curtain air bag covers. The ones between front windows and windsheild (at least i'm assuming thats where they're contained). Does anyone have experience doing this? I plan on essentially gutting the car and deadening everything i can (with raamat). I'm a little nervous about taking them off and that sort of thing (if it can even be done). Do you guys know where all the parts are that are involved in this system? I'll be disconecting the battery first off, thats kind of a given lol. But just wondering if anyone else can shed some light on any prior experiences with this sort of thing.
Thanks
