It will be louder but most likely you will lose power unless you have a turbo. The point is to have less backpressure to allow faster spool-up. It may even be louder since the turbo suppresses some of the noise.

hey sharkdiver can i remove those resonators out from my protege too, to make it sound a lil bit louder??

To be honest I have no idea...I would think it would make it a bit louder but I dont know what it will sound like.Ask the protege guys what they think,Maybe someone has done that already.
I really cant be more happy with the way mine sounds now.Im not going to remove the last resonator because it sounds nice and deep now with a low rumble to it.My money was well spent on this mod and would recoment it to anyone with a MS3.

Yeah yours does sound better then the other guys now I know why, didnt realize you left 1 resonator in place. That would be likely the best config for those wanting to do this. All 3 gone just didnt sound good to me at all mostly since the first one is under your seat and will tone down most the noise in the cabin.

Yeah guess you are right, the think is that i want to put an exhaust catback but not that loud, or put a exhaust cutout
