Sound at idle

just wondering if anyone has noticed a difference in the sound of the engine at idle, my car has about 4k mi on it and its starting to make this sort of metallic clicking sound ..its not very loud and it doesnt get louder with the revs... could it be I just need to get the valves adjusted? heh maybe its cuz I race it too much...I guess 12psi will do that... I'm gonna take the car in as soon as I get the stock airbox back on and have some time on my hands, but I dont want to waste my time if this is a normal occurance. Thanks!

Mine has 7k miles on it and it makes that sound once in awhile..I think its just the engine/turbo cooling down.

Btw, you're making 197whp at 12psi and removed 2nd cat? That's pretty good. Are you running 12psi all the time?

Naw 12psi for the track and 9-10 for daily driving.

lifter tick..
mazda's and alot of hondas do this.. nothing to worry about.. try some marvels mystery oil in the oil change, and it will help quiet the sound some.
