My bad kool for going off like i did, it's just the fact that you have flamed me before pretty badly. And then you continued to flame another post i had. So, it just seems like you are out to get me, but that is clearly not the case. Anywho i just wanted to say sorry, i hope that i did not offend you that much. And since you guys told me to take the advice of others, i appreciate you guys talking me out of a tkt turbo, i saw someone actually liked there kit for there probe, and i did not know they were so bad. Thanks, a lot, just prooves how little i know about turbos. So i think i am going to get the spoolin kit, does anyone know of any good intercoolers out there? I am thinking of going with a mitsu 16 g turbo, what intercooler would go well with this? Also since you guys say the tkt tubos suck does that mean that the tkt stroker kits suck too? If you guys could help me out with out flamin me too bad it would be greatly appreciated. Oh yea and once again kool, my bad, no hard feeling i hope.

Hey, apology accepted. Just always remember (in life, not just on here), to respect others, and to take into consideration the advice of people who know what they're talking about. Gotta keep an open mind, ya know?

Anyway, I have no idea why you thought I "had it out for you", as I really don't. You say that I asked for a scan of your timeslip (I don't deny this...I probably did), but I'm certain I meant no offense by it...I was just interested in seeing it all, (60' times, 1/8 mile times, etc etc) and comparing notes. Honestly, it's kind of standard procedure to post scans of time slips online. I've posted mine on here myself in the past.

So anyway, again...be cool to everyone, and everyone will be cool to you.

Oh yeah, and I have heard bad things about TKT everything...not just his turbo kits. Makes sense...if his kits are terrible, why shouldn't everything else be?

I remember reading about how bad his pistons/etc sucked a while back. Honestly, don't even bother with him. I personally spoke to him before I bought my mp3...he seems to KNOW his stuff, but the quality of his products is CRAP, AND it's overpriced. KD out.
 
the best advice we can give you ....is just to stay away from TKT all together.....you will be saving your self a lot of greif and heart ache.

thanks a lot kool, by chance you wouldn't happen to know of any other companies out there that make stroker kits would you? If anyone knows can they please tell me, cuz i have heard that with stock internals the most that you should run with a turbo is 10 psi. I wanna run like 15 psi, but i don't want to fry my engine, so if anyone out there knows of someone that makes forged internals for our cars it would be greatly appreaciated if you could tell me.

Hey. Even with internals, our engines can't handle 15psi. I wouldn't even think about pushing it past 12psi reliably. According to Mazda, our crankshaft (i THINK) would bend under the pressure.

As far as stroker kits go...I THINK I recall CharlieP5 looking into something with a company in Puerto Rico...run a search and see what you come up with.
 
I think it was Keith from FM with all the PSI knowledge on the car as far as how much it can handle. You may want to ask him. I remember him saying the stock engine can't handle over 10 PSI. It was mentioned on this board in the forced induction forum.

Well, spoolin DID have his @ 12psi, but it was only breifly...I wouldn't run my engine stock @ 12psi if I planned on keeping it.
