Something wrong with my 3 engine?

Hi all,
I just got my 3 last month, everything has been fine.
However, recently the gear shifting is a little bit weird.

It feels like when the gear shifts from 1 to 2, the car got kind of dragged forward by a huge force for a very short period. Say, for a second or 2.But i didn't apply any strong force on the gas pedal. And it wasnt like this when i first got the car.

This situation only happens when the engine is cold ( the temp needle around the C letter), once it's heated up, it disappears.

I wonder does anyone has the same problem? or should i send it into the dealership and get a check?
btw i got only 2000 KM on it.

It's fine. When the engine is cold and the VLIM and VTCS systems kick in, you'll notice a little "turbo boost" around 3000-4000 rpm. Nothing to worry about. (thumb)

well, but the rpm is way lower than 3000-4000, it's more like 2000 rpm. Is it still ok? Thanks for your quick reply tho. :D

The ATX might be a lil' different but I'm sure it's still fine. Besides... more power is always better, right?? (2thumbs)

It's fine

They (ATX) all do it when the car is cold, even at the low RPM's Nothing to sweat.

LOL!
That is the first time I ever heard someone worry that thier car had to much power!!!
But seriously, as long as the car isn't accelerating out of control I wouldn't worry about it. Now if you are rolling at 5mph in stop-and-go traffic, and the car suddenly lurches then that IS something to worry about (there was some car, Audi I believe, that had this bizzare problem).

Yep, it's just the VTCS kicking in while the engine is warming up to NOT. Too bad we couldn't get this to work like that all the time, as I kinda like the small 'boosted' feeling this gives you in the morning!
