Some Pics of Magden Gauges

very very nice but a bit too much for my blood. 600 or so for the magden and another 600 or so for the screen...just for some gauges essentially?? ouch

So this costs around 1300 for everything?

Anyway to cut the cost a bit?

Gmac

Someone else posted this link http://axelatuning.com/ to a different lcd screen. It cost about $200 less then the one I got. It doesnt have the specs of the screen, so I'm not sure about what inputs, or video resolution it has. I bought the magden unit used off the forum, so I dont have quite as much in it.

You're right about it being a bit costly, but If someone is going to mod their car, then the computers ability to log more than a weeks worth of data to a thumb drive for tuning / troubleshooting purposes makes it a little more worth while. I know there are other devices available that do the same thing for less, but here you kind of get 2 devices in one.

Got some pics of the install. I'm going to route the power cable in the center console from underneath it later when I install the GPS unit. So far all I've done is tuck cables underneath some of the plastic moldings. I also got a small video clip, but I have to get it off the camera, and on the web somewhere.

I ordered one today. WhooWhoo, I can't wait. I'll post up install details. I'm also working with Magden to get more parameters from the CAN to display.

That's one of the hottest and cleanest aftermarket units I've seen. Very nice!

Finally got a short video clip of the gauges in action. Working on getting a video of them while driving, so bare with me. The IAT is in Celsius, didnt have a chance to change it after upgrading the software. You'll notice that the layout of the gauges is different from my pics. Decided these were easier to read, and looked better.

Very cool.....but damn that's a long warning screen or whatever, before the gauges come alive.

I want.

It's like 40 seconds, but before this last software update you had to click on the screen to get it to go away, so I can live with the 40 seconds.
