hey i gota 03 p5 and im about to drop my car with the Tanabe GF210 Springs
front drop(1.2) rear drop(0.9)
and i heard that i will needa get a camber kit no matter how low i drop it
and i just need some advice or tips on what i should do if i lower the p5

not really, u dont need a camber kit
i dont have one, and im sitting pretty low
just go get it aligned and all that good stuff and u shouldnt have any problems

Tein S-Techs on mine for over two years now and they're -1.8"F/1.5"R. There's a healthy bit of negative camber going on but I've noticed no weird tire wear or anything like that.

I think it depends mainly on the type of car and then on the type of tire. With these cars you'll only need a camber kit when you go LOW! I've seen people on coilovers (w/o camber adjustment) with over 2" drops that have not utilized camber kits

I have s-techs and I did not need to use a camber kit when getting it allighned. Most of the springs for this car do not slam in, there for you can still adjust everything properly without the need of a camber kit.

And if you have a good allighment then you will get normal tire wear

Are you going to use the stock struts? Im wanting to get these springs too but am afraid of how the car will ride?

i have a 2" - 2.25" drop with my skunk 2 springs....but i like the camber so i can clear the 17x8 +45 wheels and tires in the rear. rides nice until i just blew both rear factory struts

For the most part if the struts are re-installed correctly, the protege drops evenly without the need for camber kits...If you want to increase the camber for AutoX or Track racing..you would need a kit, but otherwise install, check alighnment...If it's within specs you don't need one...I didn't and I've got 1.4" drop all around...Espelirs...da best...

yea i was thinkn Tokico blues
cause my friend told me it would help out the factory struts
but like prototype5 said if u do it all right then it shouldnt be a problem with anything
cause my friends type S DC5 hsa the tanabe DF210's and its like l.6 dropish
and he's not havn any unusual wear on his tires
and its been on there fer couple years now
