so will the 40 offset fit on a p5 or not?

Just be careful guys. MY fitment recipe is a guarantee. There will be variances in certain vehicles. So just make sure you're not taking a risk.

Alot depends on your tire selection and wheel selection. Different model tires in the same size will have different widths and wheels too will have different section widths as well. The same offset and width doesn't mean all wheels will have the same back or front spacing.

Thanks, Rishie

I just went hauling through some local twisties and got a little rub out of the rear w/ 18X7.5 +40's. Just barely catches the inside of the fender. Maybe some camber bolts or a little nip and tuck.

I've just been seeing alot of 18x7.5 with 45mm backspacing and its so close to the fitment recipe it hurts.

I ran 18 x 7.5 with 225/40 tires and a 40 offset.. it rubbed... all 4 corners in fact. I even used camber bolts... still rubbed.

Sold them in favor of 17 x 7 with 205/40 and a 42 offset. Much better, but they dont look as cool. :(

I have a set of 18X7.5 ADR Sokudo for $1000+shipping +48 offset, silver with machined lip, 215/35 Federal tires, hub rings, brand new lug nuts. Just throwing this in here to see what kind of response I get. I will ultimately be selling my P5 so might as well sell the wheels before I curb one:)
