hey man...i don't have a msp, but there's a few protege guys around KW/Cambridge. if you haven't, check out www.toprotege.com. they're always organizing really good meets and events...i think at the last event we had about 50 proteges.

nice choice on the colour! there's a guy on this board (can't remember his name) that's from kitchener and has a titanium.

2003.5 Titanium MSP ,took delivery on the 29th of May '03. Already have 25000 km on it. Mostly Driving between Waterloo and Ottawa, really miss crusise control.

I have Nokian's Hakkapeliitta 1 winiter tires on 16 inch rims, 205/55-16. Would highly recommend these to anyone still sliding around on RE040's.

i took delivery of mine on dec 23rd... got 150k's so far
takin it easy since im on break-in time and havent done my undercoating yet. hope to see you around

Hey man, I have a 'Tight'anium speed in the KW area, sometimes out in Waterloo. Look for slight mirrored tint. Glad to see another Titanium around, I haven't seen 1, I've seen two Orange ones(maybe the same) You don't really have to tkae it easy on these engines. Just don't rag the s*** outta it(no redline). You can still give it though, atleast I did like 500km into it. Just nothing real hard. You're getting a deal aren't you?? How much did you pay? it's been a while since I've been around my dealer to check the price. Which dealer did you get your from??? Probably wasn't Kieswetter, as I bought their only tight one.

yup, i plan on takin it real easy till about 500 too... ive gotten on the boost abit till about 4K but thats it... one things for sure people really do look, really glad i got it.
oh and i got mine from scarboro mazda... they got me a brand new one from the docks, supposedly i got the last titanium made. paid just under $28K... when did you get yours and how much did u pay?

I was told i had bought the last orange, then i saw at least 3 at other dealers after i had bought mine.
You got played, so did I. Gyro still has a titanium in the showroom. they had a Yellow until a few weeks ago.

First off, i didn't mean anything bad by my post, your story just sounded similar to mine that's all.
Find out the production # to be sure you got the last one.
As for the shipping it from the docks in BC, weird they wouldn't have just shipped it from Toronto, the dealers here have them on the lots ?
Enjoy the car, i love mine.
As for my car sitting around, it was locked up, on the pedestal outside the dealership. I had to put a deposit down just to drive it, so i doubt people "screwed with it".
And by the way, how do you suppose we all got our cars? I'd imagine they were shipped by train as well.

I just picked up my MSP this week, absolutely love it. Titanium Gray and after three weeks of negotiating I managed to pry it from them for $24.5K.

Glad to become a member and am learning a lot about the car. I had my ECU flashed before I picked it up.

One question I do have is if the Mazdaspeed floor mats were available for the Canadian models? I see it in the specs for the US cars but can't find detailed specs for CAN model.

Gently breaking it in for 2K or so and then the real fun begins!

The $24.5K is before tax. The Yellow ones were $500-750 cheaper. Ontario Mazda.

I'll have to take a look for the sticker indicating the flash.

Damn, how much did you pay tiwing?
did you guys pay cash or finance? cause i paid cash and my titanium was alot cheaper than that with 12km's on the tach

Well, it was decent at the time I suppose because there wasn't much bargaining on the Titanium and I didnt' want the yellow one. I was also kinda stuck for a car as my old Celica was about to die. I also buried my moonroof and my winter rims & tires in the price. I think it was just under 30 with the extras... But I got Mazdaspeed floor mats... woohooooo!!!! (lol2)

Have to correct myself here. My floor mats have been in the trunk since the day I bought the car due to winter. So I looked at 'em today. They say Protege, not Mazdaspeed. Sorry for misleading.
