So Who received Free Touchup paint in the mail from MazdaUSA

Bought mine last Sept. and just received the touch-up paint on 04/25/08

That's interesting. I e-mailed Mazda a week ago requesting some free touch-up based on what other forum members have received. They responded a couple of days later stating they don't do that any more, but they would send me a $50 gift certificate to be used at any Mazda authorized parts/service.

Guess what, I actually received the certificate in the mail yesterday. Must say I was kind of surprised. I didn't think they would send it.

It appears their policy discontinuing the free touch-up paint must be a recent change.

I bought my CX-9 last Wednesday, and the salesman made the first oil change appointment for me. If I keep the appointment I get a free bottle of touch up paint. This was printed on the card that he wrote the appointment on, I believe it was in the delivery package (owners manual, etc)
