so who goes clubbing?

well ive been in the area for my entire adult life so far and have never been to a club in DC.

im wonderin if anybody has any suggestions on which clubs are good and which to avoid. also, do you drive there or is it easier to take the metro? parking in DC sucks but so does the metro. my only exposure is seeing it on tv or movies and usually someone gets bounced...so im just trying to avoid that. i'm the only person i know who hasnt been to a club and from what i hear a new club opens every other week so i figure i should do it at least once.

DC Clubs

I use to got to the Platinum Club on Saturdays. House/top 40's main floor and Reggae down stairs [Dress to impress, no sneakers, ball caps].

DC live Club plays mainly Hip hop... and Nations, don't go there, is a Gay club.

i had a friend who went to gay clubs with her girl entourage. she brought her husband once and he swore never to go back there. so i'm pretty sure i wont let her take me to any clubs any time soon. thanks for the tip
