Ryan, this is a little OT but how did you get engine that freakin' clean? My god, it looks like you NuVinyled/Armoraled the entire engine bay or something. What's the shiney secret?

EDIT: Striker, I don't know if it's just video/audio quality but my BPV (w/ Injen) makes people on a two lane highway jerk there head around it's so freakin loud. I'm not kidding, people have veared off the road rubber-necking over the gobble.

heathen i have caused 3 wrecked do to my injen and the greddy type s lol... people jerk around to look and rear end someone or run off the road lol...

dude the secret is awesome all my engine bays on all my cars look this way, sounds a lil cheezy but hey it work, b4 u go to wash ur car spray and coat the entire engine bay with tire foam, close the hood, wash ur car normally, at the end after ur done b4 u start drying open the hood and spray off the excess, and walla. clean engine bay.
There is however a down side to this, i have heard that over time tire foam starts to eat plastic hoses, wont be a problem onces those are replaced... and the other downside is that when you go to do engine work alot of the parts are slick as hell LOL.. i went to grab my tower strut and my hand slipped and i about did a face plant into the engine cover LOL.

ps i love two things about the clean engine bay, random person walks up what you done to your car, blah blah blah, can i see the engine bay sure, u pop it open looks like u have 0 miles on ur car LOL, most ppl are like WTF! haha.

and secondly i love watching ppl go to town on the engine bay at a car show, and ther scrubbin and scrubbin and scrubbin, i'll pull in go through the sand dirt grass gravel pull up next to them pop my hood and i be dayum shiney as a mofo. hehe.

ryan - looks sweet :D i take it you're using the atp flange to run the hose to the bov. do you have a bracket or anything to support the bov or is it just hanging there? and it still gobbles? hmm....get a vid up soon! i wanna hear a whistling turkey :D and damn your engine bay IS shiny.

heathen - yeah it's the vid. i never head the bpv from outside until last night. my dad took my car for a spin around the neighborhood. i heard the turkey from down the street! i need to get a vid from the outside. on a side note, he did say that the car felt like it had more power from the intake :D

Freakin' Amazing! Thanks ryan. I seriously wondered how. I may have to try it out but I'm a little concerned about damaging hoses. But I must say DAYUUUUM it look clean!

Ryan,
I know you said its louder now with the Type S but is it louder as in better or louder like crappy loud.
I think I should just take the Greddy Type S off the Probe this weekend and try it on the Speed.

dude its sweet everyone says sound like a skyline but i still hear the turkey thanks for the comment, no its supported by the injen were it recircs back down to the intake... thats how its held up.. clams do the trick. if i blew off to the atmosphere it would be alot closer to the top of the intercooler and would rest ontop of the injen intake.

are you still running stock boost ryan? i dunno if more boost makes a difference in the sound...you think it would right?

On the Greddy type S it changes by boost level. I think its pretty cool. I started off with 4psi on the other car then went up to 7-8psi so the whoosh got stronger. But my friends Talon on the same BOV has 14 plus psi and it sounds like a whistle whoosh which sounds tight.

yes it does, that could be why it sounds 10 times louder ;op im running 13 psi.
