only for a few days, it happened almost a week ago. i had my bike on the roof rack and my dad had to use my car. unfortunately he forgot about the bike on the roof (you dont know how easy that is) and hit my carport...sucks that the roof racks pretty toast. not to mention the two fist size wide dent where the towers go on the roof on the left back passenger side the two creases where the hooks slipped an bent on both front driver an passenger side roof above the doors and the smaller dent on the back right passenger side of the roof above the door. also the good size dent an big scratch on the roof from my bike falling over on it. it sucks...but mistakes happen. i was hoping not to use my insurance but $1600 to fix it i REALLY dont want to shell outta pocket. so my $500 deductible will be sufficient (2thumbs) good thing is my insurance wont go up. but the bigg nicks from where a rock hit my hood ( 1 week after i got the car ) is also getting fixed.(cabpatch) shell be a new new car all over again haha. everyone have a MERRY CHRISTMAS btw!

Sucks about your speed man, my bro did that in his truck, fcuked it pretty bad

yup, buddy of mine did it in his sti as well. his roofs completely toasted though. looks like someone jumped and landed ass first on his roof haha.

I'm always paranoid that it will happen to me as well. You are right about it being very easy to forget about.

Hope your dad doesn't feel too bad about the whole thing.

why doesn't your dad cover the repairs???

accidents and associated repairs are the DRIVER'S responsibility, not the OWNER's... i f***ed up my mom's car awhile ago and covered the repairs using my insurance.

your dad should have already volunteered to use his own insurance and his own money for the deductible for his own insurance. unless you're either the best son in the world or he's the worst dad...?

Well we know the status of the car but....Is the bike ok? Sorry I'm also a cyclist and my bikes are worth a ton of money so I am always concerned about others.

im 21 still young an this is my second car which ive purchased on my own. ( first car being an 06 mz3 when i was 19) my parents both have helped me out more than any other kid ive known hell, they bought me my first car. 02 ford ranger with 12k miles on it. ive fukced up my fair share of their cars when i was younger ( the 02 ranger) lol and they covered it fully. its only a $500 deductible...so im not too worried. accidents happen. and my insurance wont go up for it. so its cool.

yeah, the bikes good. the handle bars are a little scraped up but thats it. i don't know what kind of bike you ride. but mine is a BMX bike. which i use for racing so its not so bad.

Your dad owes you a nice set of Volks (rockon)

If that were the case, I would let someone do that to my car!

That sucks but $500 isn't that bad so like you said, oh well. My fiance has rolled back into two cars, luckily it was never anything that a clay bar wouldn't take off. And, the puppy in your avatar is too cute.
