It's not that it's really that hard to understand, it's just that it's annoying to have to translate all that e-thuggery back into normal English. The very concept of language is that we've all agreed on a set of words and rules for their use that makes it easy for us all to understand each other. When someone feels a need to look cool by changing "the" to "da" and "my" to "ma", it just takes too much effort to make sense of what they're writing, and around here at least, people are going to ignore you, and think you're probably not very smart, and not worth paying attention to.
Anyway, we all know you're "down wit da hood" and "rite from da skreets, yo", but if you want to participate in a discussion around here, use more of the regular english language, and less people will feel a need to make fun of you.
