So I saw this covered Ferrari...

At an amusment park parking lot, I spotted a red car-cover partially fitted over a vehicle whose base seemed just centimeters off the ground. At the center of the rims was that famous standing horse. At first I was impressed to lay eyes on a Ferrari, but then I realized I was standing in a public parking lot. What a tedious and anxious life an owner of a supercar must feel. I can only imagine the tension when prying eyes gaze at the owner when he's covering his trophy. So much Jealousy and suspicion. I bet the owner wouldn't trust any person ten feet within his Ferrari. Just taking his eyes off it must bring stress and worry, so much so he couldn't enjoy a day at the park. Life just enters a whole new level of vanity, anxiety, and untrustworthyness when you own a car like that. Is it really worth it? In my opinion, no. I'd rather have a sleeper car. With a sleeper it doesn't matter if someone dings it, it's got a butt-ugly exterior anyways. Underneath the hood however is a monster. What do you guys think? I wouldn't want to be the owner of the Ferrari. Cover it whenever you go to a public spot? No thanks.

I've wondered the samr thing about the lambo i saw on a military installation (along with, who in the military could possibly afford a f'n lambo)

turns out it was owned by an enlisted person... (boom03)

that is why insurance was created.

i had a sleeper and i hated it. once you get the motor done you do want the car is look good. sort of the opposite with the p5 but thats ok lol

My definition of a sleeper is a car that has sufficiently kick ass power and an exterior that I find attractive, and the cops think it's nothing. I would never buy an ugly car and put money into it unless I liked how it looks.

The p5 is awesome but meh. My ideal sleeper would be a WRX wagon. Oh yeah.

I like sleepers..... >:) - now as far as the Ferrari.....the dude probably rented the vehicle to make himself feel better about having a small wanker.

You sure you didn't see a green and white "E" on the bumper of his car? LOL

eeeeh I see em at least every other day. There are plenty driving around here.

I see this dude at our local "Cruise Spot" all the time. He pulls in with an ENZO Ferrari, leaves the doors open, and goes for coffee. Now that's having F.U. money.... Or just plain crazy!
