Snow Tires?

For my Focus I bought 15" steel rims ($52 plus tax) and no name winter tires($70 plus tax) from Walmart. They worked great. It was as good as a 4x4. With the stock 205/16's the traction control was always coming on. People think it costs too much to buy winter tires, but I figure in the long run it is the same cost as your all seasons last longer.

I am about to sell my stock aluminum Focus wheels with CT snow tires.. they worked great as well on the Focus.
I too am now looking for a set of wheels for the winter, I can get the tires easily enough.
Is there another thread where I can find the rim size for my M5 GS ?
I have the factory 16" wheels

Thanks.

Hey as we are on tires. Are the toyo are so crappy?

I mean I bought a set of General tires for my Jetta. They have like 500km on them and I have to return the Jetta. Should I keep the General for my M5 and return the Toyo with the Jetta, assuming they are the same size of course ?

Keep the Toyo's they're pretty good tires, definitely better quality than General's IMHO. I've had general tires on a couple of my cars, and I changed them out as soon as I could. They just don;t have any quality to them .

The Toyo's are pretty good tires, as all tires they have their limits, but they are pretty good considering they are OEM!! They are definitly better than the Pirelli P400's I had on my last car!

Ok, I had to buy the cheapest 17" for my Jetta before returning it (the original tires werre way to used) so I had a great deal @ 550$ installed. I'll keep the Toyo then.
