Nah least on the P5 end that happens alot, remember these cars are still Proteges. People probably just bought them and aren't caught up in the whole car cult following.

For those interested I may have found out who the spicey orange MSP was in my area... Friend of mine says her friends family gave their son a msp for graduation... Could be the one I saw. Anyways what a good present eh? haha. We'll work on getting him in here.

I've given up on waving to p5's. Too many soccer moms drive them and have no idea why I'm waving to them. I 've seen a few MP3's, but I've never been in my MP3 when I saw them. Always in someone else's car. Never seen an MSP either.

Yeah, I run into that all too often in my P5. I agree with REMillers, these soccer moms and daisy pushers don't realize what they've got. To them it's just a "nice car". Blasphemers! I say no matter what you got, drive it like you stole it. My fiance tells me every time he passes someone in another corvette (he drives an '87 vette) they always wave at him. Come on, where's the comraderie for the P5s, MSPs, etc? :mad:

But yeah, P5/MSP/MP3s are considered the "hip" ones because of their more agressive styling and younger target audience. Nothing wrong with an ES though. Where did you see this MP3? what color?

Yeah, the MP3 and P5 have almost identical front ends. I did have a P5 sighting a couple of weeks ago. Bright yellow with a zoom-zoom sticker on the rear pannel. I gave a wave, but the lady driving did not even notice the laser blue P5 right next to her. She was in her own little world. Maybe thinking about when to pick up her kids form soccer practice.

i believe hes reffering to how the stock tire size on the mp3 makes the ass slide like it was on ice. i replaced my trie on my 3 wit 215/45/17's and no more accidental drifts for me.

no offense to people here... but lots of people I have met/seen who drive NICE cars are complete jackasses... there's a guy driving a blue MP3 here in the area... one night my friend was giving me a ride home in his beat to hell altima... I looked over and waved at him... he just looked back like an idiot and he speeds off (he was still within our sight)... while 5 minutes later we see an undercover cop car speed by us and flips the cheries on him

it was on somerdale road in magnolia, NJ. right by the echelon mall.

no worries...he's not the first Protege driver i've seen who acted like a hard guy.

besides, his car is probably slower than mine.

also just saw an MP3 at work (Philly navy base). ??? it's like Protege City around here...6 in my building alone.

yea there is a guy with a blue MP3 in my area..complete asshat..i wave to him like everyday..he just glares at me..i got next to him one time and kinda hinted to roll down his window..he just looks at me and scowled..im like fine ******...all your gonna see is ass and taillights...peaceeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!
