Anyone know where I can get them?

I just dont like the clear/white ones on my titanium MSP.

I dont want to do niteshades unless I have to.

Thanks!

I have purchased a few items from 42nd Draft Designs, who specializes in making plastic parts for VWs. I was thinking that I should contact them to see if they could make clear lenses for the corners in our headlights...I could also ask about smoked sidemarkers. Check out their site if you want:

If you send me directions on how to properly separate the headlamps from the housings, I will make a set of clear reflectors for you. I have a heat gun a dremel and clear reflective plastic. Here is an old car of mine: http://www.geocities.com/johnh1977/race.html It looked stock!

As far as the side markers, dont worry about it, I ordered a can of night shade. I can post pics when done...

Here is another pic of my old clear corners...

I will post a pic of my car very soon...

Also, if someone sent me their amber inserts, I could use it as a sample for the clear ones.

Send them to:
John Herrick
7448 Bolton Way
Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076

Do you have paypal?

I can cover shipping or send you a check to cover your costs once I get the lenses.

Let me know...

Cool, I can't wait for you to get eX''s corners. I'm holding off on painting my headlights so that hopefully I can put in the clears you're gonna make when I do it.

DONE.

Here ya go...again: niteshades.
Very easy mod, took about 20 mins both sides and about $30.
(about $19 for the Niteshades+S&H, and approx $10 for the amber LED sidemarkers from AutoZone).

No need for a how to, just remove the sidemarkers (there is a plastic "spring release" holding them in place. Just gently pull on the sidemarker and you will see it, I dont remember if it is to the front or the rear (sorry!). You might them need to GENTLY use a flathead screwdriver to release this. Keep trying, you will get it.

Then take out the bulb socket and let it hang and remove the gasket from the marker.

Wipe down the marker with comething clean until it is to your liking.

Mount in cardboard backdrop AWAY from the car. Start spraying with the Niteshades; make sure you do both at once so they are even in color when finished, I failed to do this and so one of mine turned out way to dark. I will be getting a new set to redo sometime soon.

Also, make sure no dust or anything gets to them while drying.

If you wanna stay legal in your area (or USDOT for that matter), you can add some cool LED #194 bulbs from Jam Strait (http://www.jamstrait.com) while you are in there.

Good luck!
