Okay, so I'm looking at ugrading either my SMIC or my Intake manifold. I am stock other than some minor mods like an upgraded PCV valve, IK22s and front engine mounts and this will be my last mod probably forever (I'm getting married and the fiancee doesn't even like that I'm doing this mod!) What I'm trying to do is kill the heatsoak of Georgia. The intake manifold will produce more hp I THINK. According to **********, they got 14whp out of it. On the SMIC, they only got 17hp (NOT whp). BUT, it is the SMIC that battles the dreaded heat soak, BUT on the other hand, it looks like I'd get more power out of the intake manifold. What should I do??

SMIC.....especially if your main concern is heatsoak.

"What I'm trying to do is kill the heatsoak of Georgia."

So based on that it shouldn't be a matter of what produces more hp then is it

Well, maybe not. But I figured that maybe the more hp the less heatsoak or the more hp, the less noticeable the heatsoak.

protegegarage.com offers an intake manifold for $199 although i think they are back ordered just a bit.......you may be able to afford both if you go that route.

I wish. I'm not even going to tell the fiancee how much the SMIC really cost me. She'd kill me if she heard $500-600

$500-600 For A Smic? Get The Protegegarage One For $440 And Their Intake Manifold For $354 If You Get The Egr Pipe Too.

Who Knows Maybe You Can Get A Deal For Both.
