Smashed Window

So after sitting in my car after eating out, i find the wonderful surprise of a smashed rear passenger window with my backpack missing. Police came, blah blah blah, heres your incident card, now contact your insurance. My question is, has anyone experienced this before? Also, how has your insurance dealt with it? Unfortunately my coverage is liability only I am pretty sure, so I am not expecting much help, but maybe help to you guys as to how much a new window would cost?

yeah my car was broken into....they threw a 10lb chunk of conrete through the window and it bounced everywhere doing more damage than the s*** they took.......it's like 120 bucks for a new window....cheaper if you go through a scrap yard(etc) and do it yourself.....just call around to different places and see and check with scrape yards

Before my car even had plates, someone broke my front passenger window at work and stole my wifes makeup bag. (dammit, I keep telling her to hide it under the seat(deadhorse). Dont even bother reporting it to insurance and get an aftermarket replacement. iirc, I payed 80 at an auto glass shop and installed it in their parking lot. $150 installed my ass.

insurance covered mine...they ripped out the radio, scratched the hell outta the dash and ripped my seats
